When I was in 8th/9th, I had learnt some web technologies(HTML, CSS, JS, React.js, Node.js etc.). I am not saying that I could do anything that I wanted to with these, but back in those days, I was building things just for the sake of it. And i actually could make things. If only faulty, unscalable, unreadable, i could. I even learnt android programming, again, because , why not? Even though i was a beginner, I felt I was a god(kabhi kabhi lagta tha apun hee bhagwan hai).
Then, I saw, people actually pay for getting these things done. It was decided. I am gonna be a freelancer.
I sent some cold emails, requests on freelancing sites, kept abhorrently low rates for my time and expectedly, it did not work out. I used to think, "lagatar lage rahenge, kabhi na kabhi toh koi client mil hi Jana hai".
Now the only hope I have is getting into a good college in CS(preferably good IITs) and get back to what I was actually going to do.
God, I miss calling myself a programmer.
