In B and C case, the friction is forward, how can the torque about the centre be clockwise?
And we have nothing to do with the torque due to F
Mate , you can't check torque about centre ...its non inertial ...bottom point is at rest , you can apply r× F there
If we can't take the torque about the centre then how come in rotational dynamics, we take torque equation for a rolling body?

No. Torque has nothing to do with frame of reference. We equate it with the corresponding moment of inertia and angular acceleration.
