I think you said just the opposite … P Bahadur has easy questions aimed to increase your speed and not very much your concepts … so a person who lacks speed can try that out … on the other hand n avasti is a book to get all variety of problem and concepts … so it to master the concepts not for practising to increase speed
See what i believe is that the solved examples of p bahadur are really nice. They are a lot in number. Its sometimes 150+ or even more. They have all the variety. I have done them and i know they are not easy. N avasthi isn’t bad too. It is equally good. You can go for either. These days n avasthi is more popular keeping recent trends in mind go for n avasthi. But clearing the point, it isn’t like p bahadur is very easy. Its also a great book.
@Anjali_arora di I didn’t wanted to say “easy” in absolute term , it was a relative term w.r.t to n avasti … may be I am wrong but that’s what I think and thus I wrote it down … if you think it’s misleading do tell me i will delete my previous comment …
No no! Its fine! I also recommend n avasthi as things change and i accept it! I also put my point. Dont worry! Its fine😊
What are your inputs about Amit Agarwal(Arihant) vs G Tewani(Cengage)??
For which topics? LIke amit m agarwal has Two three arihant books right? Or you are talking about the combined questions one?
Same for cengage?
Please specify the exact book!
I have used both arihant and cengage will help you out!
Amit aggarwal or SK goyal…algebra…trigo calculus etc and cengage trigo algebra etc…which is better??
@Anjali_arora I was talking about the topic wise books. BTW Amit Agarwal has written 4 in the series comprising of 6 books. We would be grateful if you can suggest d best among d 2 for each topic.
See for coordinate geomtry arihant book is better. For trigonometry cengage is better. For calculus you can go for either. I always like the questions of cengage more. Theory wise arihant is a bit better. If you are buying individual books as you said i think in coordinate arihant is good other than that you can go for cengage if you want a great mixed set of questions with solns Then cengage is a better Choice else for theory and better examples and a decent mix of questions arihant. For coordinate be sure of arihant and for trigo cengage. For rest go by what i told.
can you please review the following books
1.Understanding Optics by MK SINHA
2.Practice problems in physics by ABHAY KR. SINGH
Here are the links
@Anjali_arora di please review these books…
Yes sure. Since i haven’t directly used them i will ask some friends in college if they have used it and find out more and update you people! Give me some time! dont worry😊
For maths how is book by sl loney?
SL lonely is dead now but his contribution were very good for maths
Which one coordinate one
Both trigo and coordinate
Trigonometry you can find in post 1 of this thread and coordinate geometry one has some very good questions while some very easy question you can give it a try after you complete all basic material like Arihant, coaching modules which are more relevant nowadays
Have you already bought it or are you looking to buy a book ?see, its fine but not great! As in if you are looking to buy, we will suggest you some better books. Else we can tell you ways to use it in best way. So please tell me that!
I only have sl loney Trigonometry.
You should firstly do rd sharma and since you already habe sl loney, you can go with it. Its not a bad book its Decent but yes, cengage or arihant would have been better. Finally, definitely do past year paper’s questions.
