A ball floats on the surface of water in a container exposed to atmosphere. Will the ball remain immersed at its initial depth or will it sink or rise some what if the container is shifted to moon?

Well i didn't take the effect of atmosphere into consideration as we don't generally.
Sure in that case ball will sink a bit more due to the absence of upthrust by air.
But why air will exert upthrust? It will be exerting large downwards force due to atmospheric pressure.
