Dear JEE (Main), Jan 2019 Aspirants,
NTA, wishes you a ‘Happy New Year’.
As you are aware, National Testing Agency (NTA), is conducting JEE (Mains) entrance examinations w.e.f. 8th January 2019. We are pleased to inform you that, NTA is helping the JEE (Main), Jan 2019 aspirants and is providing ‘Additional Question Papers (QPs) for Mock Tests’ to them with effect from 2nd January 2019, so that the candidates (i) understand the methodology of Computer Based Tests (CBTs), being followed by NTA (including for JEE, (Main)) and (ii) can perform practice on some old JEE (Main) QPs and get to know the score achieved by them. The Additional Mock Test is available at https://www.nta.ac.in/Quiz. A total of eight QPs have been uploaded at the ‘Mock Test’. The test can be performed On-line; candidates can also download the test and perform it off-line at home or anywhere. We hope you will benefit from the Mock Test. Information on this is being forwarded to all JEE (Main) January 2019, aspirants.
We appeal the JEE (Main) Aspirants to benefit from ‘Additional QPs’, at home or anywhere, from 2nd January onwards; however, to help limited candidates, who do not have access to PC/Laptop/smart phone/internet at home, we are inviting them to enter the link www.tpcnta.in/jee/reg, fill the required fields, so that we can assign them one of the ‘Test Practice Centres’ (TPCs) near place of their stay. It is recommended that, as much as possible, candidates should benefit from Additional Mock Test at home itself, since practice from designated TPC can only be conducted on 5th & 6th January 2019 and very limited JEE (Main) aspirants can be accommodated at such TPCs.
Wishing you best of luck, for the forthcoming JEE Test.
