For all those wondering whether answer should have been 7 or 7.00,
Please refer to the instructions of integer type questions in the question paper.
This section contains EIGHT (08) questions. The answer to each question is a NUMERICAL VALUE.
For each question, enter the correct numerical value (in decimal notation, truncated/rounded-off to
the second decimal place; e.g. 6.25, 7.00, -0.33, -.30, 30.27, -127.30) using the mouse and the onscreen
virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer.
Answer to each question will be evaluated according to the following marking scheme:
Full Marks : +3 If ONLY the correct numerical value is entered as answer.
Zero Marks : 0 in all other cases
In the second point, they have clearly mentioned - truncated/rounded-off to the second decimal place e.g. 6.25 ,7.00 , .........
7.00 it says right there. If students would have read the instructions carefully, they should have known what the answer requirement is. Besides, Units and Measurements is one of the very first chapters we learn in class 11. I guess everyone should know what rounding off to the second decimal place means.
This is not to disrespect anyone. Just showing how important reading the question paper carefully is. We worry so much about the questions that we forget to read the instructions properly. If any junior is reading this, next year, remember to read the instructions very carefully too.
