I want my Thermodynamics to be rock solid. It is a high weightage chapter in NEST and IAT. So please help.
For physics, i have done cengage. Its excellent for this part.
Foe chem, I did class notes+ coaching+ NA (level 2 ig)
Yes but how to strengthen concepts? Coz they ask highly conceptual questions. I’ll ask some here soon.
Take help from your teacher. Read it from one book and analayse it carefully, instead of going for multiple books.
Of course. But idk which one to refer to that is why I’m going through different books so that I can spensure which one is suitable.
If I were to suggest something, read University Physics, our teacher said to read it for FLT and SLT both as it is highly conceptual. It's highly beneficial.
And for chemistry Bruce Mahan?
Haven't studied yet in Chemistry, so can't say anything.
Is ther PDF available? @Lavesh_Gupta
You’re in Kota centre of Bansal?
Lavesh bro... can I also solve problems from University Physics coz I kinda like it. Can you check with you sir once. Coz my aim is more towards NEST, IISERAT and KVPY than advanced.
@seshu_ram any idea how this book is? Want to read it after Jee.
Some chapters are great afaik, like gaseous state, while some are not that good, like equilibrium
Idk. @manan_upadhyay and @lavesh_gupta have mentioned it before. My target before NEST is to complete University Physics for Thermodynamics and complete reading that Thermodynamics account by Atkins at least twice and Complete Ira Levine.
A humongous task at hand. But much needed for the Putnam font exam.
Isnt Ira Levine quite off-track for JEE?
As I said Its for NEST not JEE. But I’ll omit what is not required. Like integration and partial derivative problems with page long solutions.
