Study redox when they are teaching electrochemistry. You will get a lot of conceptual clarity. Also, when you study d-block, you will study KMnO4 and K2Cr2O7 reactions. During that time you will have time to practise. So when you are balancing the equations you will not only learn redox, you will also be able to remember reactions as you solved them.
You should revise it, but don't do too many questions as if you do now they will be merely calculation problems. Later, they will be reactions you have to remember.
