Doubt from Work Energy

Here in this picture you can see we have equated Work (torque x d(theta)) with change in potential energy.

But isn't W = -∆U

Even in this pic ∆U = W
Why is -ve sign not written everywhere?

A very basic doubt randomly came to my mind.

Ohk, so I understood something wrong at first with the second pic, it isn't a doubt anymore! Plz help with first!

W electrostatic force = - ΔU
W external = ΔU

yeah so in the first pic, torquw x d(theta) isnt it work by electroststic force?

If yes then why -ve isnt added

The angle between torque and angle between P & E is 180° ( one is in the page and the other outside the plane of page).
