Are these reactions in NCERT?
Even I was wondering if these are there in NCERT. Many sample papers have reactions outside NCERT. Idk if we should expect such reactions or not?
I know option C is a method of preparing for Carbon Monoxide but again not in NCERT.
imo O_3 gives nascent oxygen and O_2 in oxidising reactions right..
so we should select the option in which the central atom is in its max o.s so that it wont get oxidized further.. that way it should be KI
And is D tho
then the question must have been incomplete..
refer this... KI is wrong if its in aqueous medium
Ohh yes. I messed up the reactions. CO is produced with potassium ferrocyanide is treated with H2SO4 not O3.
Then as @Vikrant_Reddy its option D. They probably expected us to assume aq. medium when required I guess.
@Viraam_Rao this H2SO4 + potassium ferrocyanide thing is there in NCERT?
Please tell me which chapter?
