Please explain this question. I know what peroxy acids are, but what do they mean by peroxy form of an acid?
Is it HNO3?
Peroxy acids are when oxyacids of those elements have a peroxy linkage between two centres. Like peroxydisulphuric acid.
@Viraam_Rao Yeah it's correct, but I was thinking about A, that H2SO5 also has peroxy bond. But actually I wasn't getting that what a peroxy form of an acid is . I mean can we say H2SO5 is peroxy form of H2SO4?
But they said two central atoms in the question.
Actually I'm confused that are they asking that, which one doesn't have an existing acid with 2 central atoms or are they asking which one of it has peroxy form and without 2 central atoms?
Ohh ok. They are asking. Which of those acids, doesn't have a peroxy form in which there are two central atoms.
