Thx @pratyaksh_tyagi , I didn't see the video but I think I got it, there's hole in the container we so there will be force of P°A from below which would cancel out the force from above and force on it will only be due to gauge pressure.
@Soumyadeep bro tell me is it possible it will act downward ?( what's ur reasoning)
Yes same. Why do you think it will be downwards?
Well sorry, no reasoning. I wasn't thinking much, I was just thinking like when an object is pushed force is acted opposite to it. So I was like what if it's pushed from below. But I know it's dumb sorry. I just killed gravity.
It’s alright did you clarify your own doubt?
Yup I did.
Can you also look at this please.
I will do this in sometime bro don't wry
Force will be exerted on the sides tangential to the surface of the sphere.
Didn't get you @seshu_ram
Which sides are you talking abt
Consider the dotted lines that you’ve drawn as the axes. The extreme ends of that axes I’m talking about them
I don't know if you got my question or not, I was talking about that PA force you have written how is that applied from below when practically no water is present below the hemisphere and it is joined with its second half.
And about the dotted lines, extreme ends you were talking about O had only made one dotted line and acc to you you mean this
Haan bhai that axis you’ve drawn the force will act along that axis ( the axis should be in contact with the sphere)
