That with higher oxidation potential deposit at anode.
However, it may vary if theres over potential.

Imo Conductivity is halved and area is doubled. So resistance remains the same..

How is the cathode reaction correct? What about NiO ka reduction to Ni.
I think they are not reducing it further to Ni.it's given in NCERT in fuel cells
