Question 7. I am getting only one line . (a) option. But answer is both a and d.
How to get the other one ?
@pratyaksh_tyagi @ananda_krishnan @Hari_Shankar
Draw the circle , you'll see It touches y axis
U mean y axis , right ? But why I am not getting it in the quad equation. ?
Equation reduces to:
( X-r)^2 +(y-h)^2=r^2.
So it should be a circle rouching y-axis and thus tangent will be x=0. It should be a and c acc to me.
Oh..nice observation . thanks @ananda_krishnan
So when I get only one value of m ..( instead of getting 2) ..it is better to visualize the other tangent.

@seshu_ram nice use of tan ! Thanks.
Yeah, also as (1,2) is centre , that's possible with point circle
The answer is 5 only, answer given is wrong
Final answer is option d
Ok thanks @Lalit_Kumar4 for confirming
Bro whenever u get one value of m and one value of m get cancelled that means one m is AL infinity
Ok will use this from now..thanks @Abdul_Gani bro
