How the energy has been given in terms of rydberg constant.
Don’t you think that something is missing over here?!
Because Rh= (13.6 X e)/hc
And energy of an electron = (13.6 X e X z²)/n²
And hence n = 3 root ( hc ) which is very less than 1
I think instead of energy if wavelength emitted would have been -Rh/9 then it would have been solvable
Thanks @Shwetanshu_2018 I had the same confusion.
