How about sulphonation ?
Seeing the options NO turns out to be the most probable one but had the options been different I would have definitely thought of sulphonation
Here sulphonation won’t occur. If it were H2SO4 then sulphonation would have occurred. Here NH2 gets converted to N=O.
But I have a doubt in the next step. Dunno how to proceed from here
If someone is having Advanced problems by MS Chauhan then please see solution of these questions. They are from chapter aromatic compounds.
How do we judge that if it were a different acid of sulphur what would have happened - sulphonation or NO2 ?
I guess if it is a strong acid than sulphonation is favourable else conversion to NO2 right ?
And after that step H2O will be removed @Supreeta_Sen
Honestly I don’t know bro, notes mey bhi zyada nahi hai iske baare mey. Very less idea about this.
After removal of acidic hydrogen then what happens ?
