I need the different ways of solving this.. Like the one we generally use is hit and trail method.. Are there any other methods too?? If yes then pls provide me the those methods or any helpful links from where i can learn those methods

Look its pretty simple.
I hope you can find the equivalent capacitance just the way we did in Infinite Resistance case by assuming one extra ladder.
After than since equivalent capacitance is independent of no. of ladders assume no of ladders =1 and you will get your C as 4uF
Or if you need quick solving for exam.Just plug in the options and see which options regenerates the ladder after each step!
Although 4uF is intuitive from the figure.
Initially Capacitance increases. Hence by Q=CV, Q increases on the plate connected to +ve terminal so current flows from B to A. When the slab is halfway through the Capacitance again starts to decrease and process reverses. @Anmol_Seth
