Arrange the following in decreasing order of rate of evaporation: Water, Alcohol, Petrol and Kerosene Oil.
Answer is given as
Petrol > Alcohol > Kerosene > Water
Then no idea bro..
It was under Chemical bonding. Does it have anything to do with Hydrogen Bonding?
Water has max. hydrogen bonding and it has least rate of evaporation. I dont know how can we compare the hydrogen bonding in other compounds.
In petrol the only binding force is weak wander wals force... Water and alcohol will have least cause of hydrogen bonding...
Don't know about kerosene
Bp of petrol is around 2000°C
Idk whats flr evaporation..
