How to check is S2 is para or di without writing the MOs
Para because it has filling of orbitals just like O2
I think S2 is out of syllabus as it has above 20 electrons
But it asked in some year jee

S2 is not out of syllabus, it's in p block, structures and properties of sulphur, it's mentioned there that at higher temperatures O2 like paramagnetic species S2 exists

Correct this. Apparently Compounds having 32e- is also an exception.
